INTERNATIONAL ADMISSIONS

Immigration Requirements

Please submit an International Student Information Form (ISI Form) and a copy of your passport to the International Graduate Admissions office. United States residents should provide the office with a current visa. If you are a dependent, please submit a copy of the visa for your parent or spouse.

If you are requesting the I-20 form please ensure that you have sufficient financial resources for the associated expenses. Financial documentation should accompany the International Student Information Form. When admission is granted and financial support has been verified the International Student and Scholar Office (ISSO) will mail you the I-20 form via first-class mail.

If you designate a contact person who resides in the United States to receive your I-20 form you must send a letter to the International Graduate Admissions office stating that person’s full name, address, and telephone number.

If you are an F-1 visa holder and are currently attending or are transferring your visa to Towson University, you must submit a Transfer Eligibility Certificate in order for Towson University to issue you an I-20 form.
