    U.S. Applicant Instructions

    1. Complete Application. You may apply online or download the application form in PDF format. The Admissions Office strongly encourages students to apply online. Applying online saves time and money, is more environmentally friendly than the traditional application, and reduces the chances for human error in processing and mailing.

    2. If you do not use the online application, please send the complete application and the non-refundable $50 hard copy application fee.

      Application deadlines depend on the program of choice. Most programs have rolling admission so you can apply up to the beginning of the semester you would like to begin. We recommend you apply 4-6 weeks prior to the semester to allow for proper process times. Some programs have deadlines requiring all materials to be post marked by the date indicated. For further deadline information, please see the individual program listings.

    3. Request one official undergraduate transcripts from each school you attended to be sent to the Graduate School at Towson University. Non-degree applicants need only send official transcripts verifying their highest degree earned.


    4. **PRE-DEGREE: Please make sure the transcripts include all grades through your first semester of your senior year. (ex. if you will graduate in May, we need your Fall grades)

    5. Many of our programs require supplemental materials. Please review the Individual Program Listings for specific materials required by each department.

    **If you are applying to the Physician Assistant Program, please do not continue with the on-line application. As of May 1, 2003, the Physician Assistant Program is participating in the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CASPA). ANNUAL SECURITY REPORT

"NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL CLERY CAMPUS SECURITY REPORT"

In accordance with the guidelines established by Towson University and pursuant to federal law, identified as the "Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998," all currently enrolled students, campus employees and all prospective students and prospective employees are entitled to request and receive a copy of the Towson University Annual Campus Security Report (CLERY REPORT).

The report contains crime statistics about certain specified crimes/incidents that have been reported to the Towson University Police Department and/or Campus Security Authorities over the past three years and have occurred either on-campus, in off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the University, or on public property adjacent to campus.

The report also contains policies and practices pertaining to campus security, crime reporting, alcohol and drugs, victims' assistance programs, student discipline, campus resources, community safety alerts, crime prevention, access to campus facilities/properties as well as personal safety tips. The report encourages the reporting of all crime occurrences. The report describes how and to whom to report crimes.

Copies of this report may be obtained by calling 410-704-2505 or in person from the Towson University Police Department or on-line at the Police Department's web site located at www.towson.edu/police. Additionally for your convenience a computer has been placed in the lobby of the police department to access this report.
