Teaching Degree Master's Program (M.A.T.)
Degree Requirements
DEGREE REQUIREMENTS for GENERAL EDUCATION TRACKS
Forty-two credits of course work are required to complete the M.A.T.
program in the Early Childhood or Elementary General Education Tracks.
Forty credits of course work are required to complete the M.A.T.
program in the Secondary General Education Track. The required courses
are:

**Please note that a $140 lab fee is attached to this course.
Two-Year program students must complete a minimum of one day each
week and One-Year program students will spend a minimum of two days
each week in a Professional Development School (PDS) as a requirement
for this course. Taken concurrently with EDUC 734 in the semester
prior to Internship II. EDUC 797 must be completed successfully in
order to enter EDUC 798. .

All students complete 18 weeks of full-time, five-day/week internship
in a public school setting in a Professional Development School (PDS).
Completed in the final semester. A grade of “S” must be
