College of Business & Economics

Supply Chain Management (m.s.)

Maryland's only Master of Science degree program in supply chain management is designed to develop professionals who can manage, analyze and control activities across the entire supply chain from upstream procurement and logistics to downstream distribution channels.

In addition to earning a post-baccalaureate certificate upon completing the first five courses, graduates can proceed to professional certification and pursue careers including:

  • purchasing specialists;
  • contracts administrators;
  • procurement officers;
  • supply chain management professionals;
  • procurement managers;
  • business analysts;
  • demand managers, and more.

Students can take this program completely in the evenings without affecting their current jobs and careers and still complete the degree in two years. A tentative schedule of course offerings is available.

Please note that international students must be enrolled full time (9 credits) each semester to fulfill immigration requirements. If a student opts to complete the MS in SCM as well as the Post-baccalaureate Certificate (PBC) in Project Program and Portfolio Management (PPPM) they would be able to maintain full-time status while receiving a degree and a certificate. Here is a tentative schedule of courses including the PBC in PPPM that would permit a student to maintain full-time status.
